Our Vision and the Community

The berrībook smart notebook plays an important role in many of our daily lives. We would certainly rank the role of handwriting at the top when it comes to brain training and learning, but we know that digitalization is already here to stay. berrī is right at home with this trend. In fact, with its digital notes, the berrībook can save many, many trees for the sake of all of us and our planet. The icing on the cake is that if you use it wisely, there’s a good chance you won’t buy any more paper-based notebooks. You’ll save time, money, and trees!
And that’s what many of us are doing for a common goal.

However, for our vision to come to life, we need to create a notebook that people will love. That’s why we’d like to hear the community’s feedback to help us improve it further—whether it’s about the design, the app, or any other ideas. That’s why we’re reaching out to you. 🙂

Call for Entries, Objective

Call for entries to design the cover of the most popular berribook of 2026. Our goal is to commission the design and production of notebook covers featuring exciting graphic or written messages. This is intended to promote berrībook smart notebooks, which encourage handwriting and note-taking by hand, and reduce paper consumption and deforestation through their reusability.

Contest Participation Requirements

Anyone who accepts the terms of participation and the privacy policy regarding registration may enter the contest. Participation in the contest does not require any graphic design or other professional qualifications or skills.

Content requirements for entries

We give full rein to creativity and imagination in the entries. Graphically, i.e., visually, only works that are not offensive or hurtful to any person(s) or social group will be considered. They must not cross the boundaries of good taste. If the entry contains a written message, it must naturally be understandable to everyone and must not contain content that is not suitable for public attention.
The organizer reserves the right to reject entries that do not comply with the above criteria and not to put them up for voting.

Upload/Technical Requirements for Entries

Please take the following technical parameters into account when designing your entry: The competition applies to A5-sized hardcover books.
The technical parameters of the files must be as follows:

minimum size with bleed: 15.4 x 22.4 mm,
minimum resolution: 250 ppi,
file saved in RGB color mode,
in TIFF format,
without layers.

We will review all submitted materials, and only those that meet the requirements will be considered for judging. In the case of non-compliant materials, we will notify you of the deficiencies via email.

Each entrant may submit a maximum of 2 works. Each work must be titled. Naturally, if submitting 2 works, they must have 2 different titles.

How to Upload Your Entries

Click the “Submit” button!
Register and fill out all the fields! Be sure to enter your “nickname” if you don’t want your real name to appear on our site.
Click the “Upload” button!
Drag the prepared file into the appropriate field or upload it from your computer. If you are submitting two works, use the second “Upload” button as well.
On the upload interface, you’ll see a masked preview. If the image is larger than required, you can drag it into the correct position. You’ll see a 1-1 mm safety margin around the edges, as well as the BERRĪ logo.
Finally, click the “Save” button. YOU’RE DONE 👍
Thank you. You will receive a confirmation email and a purchase coupon code. You can use the coupon on any (1) of our products throughout 2026 with a 10% discount. The coupon is transferable! If you win anyway, you’ll have your own notebook anyway. 😃

Contest Entry Evaluation Process

We will review all submitted designs and post them on our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as on our website at this link: https://berribook.hu/…….
The review process will take 1–2 days.
At the end of the submission period, we will tally the likes received across the three platforms, and the entry with the most likes will be declared the winner.
