The operator of the www.berribook.com online store (hereinafter: the online store), Ideago Kft. (hereinafter: the Data Controller), handles the personal data provided when subscribing to the newsletter, when users register, or when placing an order in the online store on the www.berribook.com website, as Data Controller, in accordance with Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (hereinafter: the Info Act) and the provisions of this policy. The data processing is based on consent as set out in this statement, pursuant to Section 5(1)(a) of the Info Act.

The Data Controller protects the personal data of registered users handled in the www.berribook.com online store in every reasonable way, does not transfer it to any third party, and does not sell it.
The Data Controller only handles personal data that is essential to achieving the purpose of the data processing and suitable for reaching that purpose. It handles personal data only to the extent and for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose.

By placing an order on the www.berribook.com website, the customer consents to the processing of their personal data until the purchase is completed, the purchased product(s) are dispatched, and invoicing has taken place. The data of the invoice generated from the order placed in the online store is recorded and stored, together with the data provided during the order, for the period specified in the applicable accounting legislation.
The above data is disclosed by the Data Controller to the authorities only in cases that are legally and duly justified and substantiated.

Using the username and password provided during registration, the user can log in to the pages of the www.berribook.com online store to view, modify, or delete their own data.
If you have previously submitted an order, the data valid at the moment of submission was attached to that order. You may request information about, modification of, or deletion of the personal data linked to the order from the Data Controller in person, by telephone, or by email (hello@berribook.hu). The user may unsubscribe from the Data Controller’s mailing list at any time simply by clicking the unsubscribe link found at the end of any email sent by the Data Controller, and may also indicate this request at the email address hello@berribook.hu.
The Data Controller shall provide the information in writing, in an intelligible form, at the request of the registered user, within the shortest possible time from the submission of the request, but no later than within 10 days. If it finds the registered user’s request justified, it shall take immediate action to rectify or delete their personal data.
If the registered user is not satisfied with the Data Controller’s response, they may enforce their right to the protection of their personal data before a civil court (BUDAPEST DISTRICT COURT FOR DISTRICTS II AND III), and may also turn to the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (www.naih.hu/kapcsolat.html).
