When we first started working on smart notebooks, we never imagined we’d end up addressing climate protection. But looking back now, the path makes perfect sense.
Our first step was to focus on the importance of handwriting. But since our notebooks can be reused almost indefinitely, we started calculating how many paper notebooks one person saves in a year. And we began multiplying that by the number of customers. We tried to express the conservation in terms of trees but gave up on the math.
We decided to find something that was easier to calculate and made a bigger impact. That’s how we discovered the 10 Million Trees community—we can fully identify with their mission and goals.
